| Summary | 0001519: "Incoming Message" mission briefing format causes game crash. | ||||
| Description | When starting a mission without returning to base from the previous mission (that is, a mission which starts with the "Incoming Message" briefing style rather than a multi-page ready room briefing), the game crashes when I click Commit. This only started happening today, but since then it has been reproducible 100% of the time. | ||||

Upon further investigation, I find that the immediate crash is only happening with the Homesick mod. However, the last mission of the Freespace 2 main campaign, which of course uses the same briefing screen, produces a bug wherein I can see my HUD, cockpit instruments, and messages from Command and other ships in the Capella system, but everything outside the ship is black and the controls won't respond. |

* BUMP * Is this still an issue? It actually sounds sort of like a corrupted pilot, so try to replicate it with a new pilot if it's still a problem. |

* RE-BUMP * Thinking back, the FS2 campaign issue seems familiar and should already be resolved, if it's not pilot file related in this particular case. If you can still replicate this in newer builds please let us know, and provide a debug log as well. If there is no update, or you can't replicate it, then we'll assume that this is just data related and not a code bug. |
