Summary0000150: TNT2: texture problems after an explosion.
DescriptionI'm getting a problem with the textures when an explosion happens. It seems that some of the parts of the explosion texture are misplaced. After this has happened every other texture in the game has the same problem, it also affect the main command room. Hopefuly I have included a screenshot of the effect.
Additional Informationbuild and settings I'm using:

Bobboau 3_23_04 (I get the problem with most other builds to)
flags: -glow -jpgtga
D3D8
640X480 x32
fix geforce font

my system spec is:

AMD Athlon 900 mhz
Nvidia TNT2
256 Mb RAM
Direct X 9.0b
TagsNo tags attached.

does this happen in OGL as well?
i had a TNT2, also using dx9, and this didn't happen in any build before 1-20 (after that, that card was out of my case)

OGL is pretty much out of the question on my system because as soon as I start a game with it enabled everything has strange lines going through it and if I start a mission it crashes instantly.

try disabling everything but OGL. What operating system are you using?

edit: also try the 20 januari build, annd/or the last december build.

I tried switching everything off but OGl and no luck there i'm afraid. I'm using Win XP home edition. I tried the earlier builds that you suggested but I got the same problem. I'll keep fiddling around with it and see what happens.

if it did occur in those builds, then it is not the graph card causing it.

I'm pretty much ready to close this one since the TNT2 isn't quite enough card to play FS2_Open anymore.

It's been almost a year since the reporter has responded and no other similar reports have been filed. If it's still an issue then we can reopen it but otherwise this is closed.
