Summary0000145: weapon ets gauge is or is not displayed when appropriate
Descriptionweapon ets gauge is displayed at the wrong times. it seems to be using the defaault ship in the mission to determine to use the gauge or not. if the default ship has no energy weapons, the gauge is not displayed, even if you change your ship to one that uses energy weapons. likewise if the default ship uses energy weapons, and you select a ballistics ship, the gauge will be displayed even though weapons use no energy.
Additional Informationerror occures in fs2_open_r_Bobboau_3-16-04.exe.

this sounds like Goober's code, it should probly just always have the weapon energy displayed, I can see a balistic weapon useing energy, so I don't even know why it was set like this in the first place

No, if none of the weapons use any energy, the gauge shouldn't be displayed. Just like with shields. This is odd behavior, though, so I'll take a look.

Nukebomb, can you post the mission as well as the ships.tbl and weapons.tbl you used?

Fixed. It was caused by me testing the object for laser power rather than the ship.
