I tried to quick fix (hack) this by having nospec turn the material.Power to 0, which the DX SDK claims disables speculars, but this only managed to turn ships completely white. I'm not sure where specmaps are loaded, so I'm handing this one to Bob. |

I've tried before as well and couldnt figure out the loading code. Please could you fix this up Bob. |
