Summary0000138: Joystick selection problems via Launcher
DescriptionSomething really weird. I am not able to play with my new Top Gun Afterburner Joystick (USB) IF no game devices are attached to the game port of my sound card. I can select it via menu, but it does not respond in the game. IF my old Wing Man Attack is attached the joystick stil does not work if selected but it does IF I select my old 3 axis 4 buttons joystick. Mind it: not the joystick attached to the game port but the one connected via USB, although it is not selected.

Im having difficultly understanding what you have writen here, could you rewrite it to be a bit friendlier.

simple. If the Thrustmuster JS is attached to the USB port and the gameport is free, I can select the joystick in the launcher nut it will not work in the game.

If a joystick is attached to the game port with the Thrustmuster attached to the USB and I select it via launcher it still does not work.

IF I select the joystick attached to the gameport however Thrustermaster comes to life (and not the joystick attached to the game port).

Perhaps I should clean up all FS2 registry entries?

Thanks for clearing that up for me.
Dont change the registry values.

Fixed, Launcher now uses Win32 detection code as well as Dinput.
