this should have been reported in the game-warden forums - this is not the place to report bugs for BSG, this is for engine bugs. |
I think the game shutting down and restarting the entire system counts as an engine bug. I'm pretty sure I didn't use the crash-computer SEXP anywhere in that mission. What happens if you run the debug build corbanb5? |
yes, but mod-specific bugs should be filtered through their forums first so we get distilled reports of the actual bug. |
Why? It's not as if we insist that FS2 bugs are first filtered through the SCP forum. Sure it would be nice if we had a bit more info to go on but this is definitely an engine bug and I've seen many FS2 bugs on here with a lot less info than this one. |
as described it strikes me as mod bug, and I thought we had an implicit policy (because it would only be sane) that all bugs with a specific mod are submitted to that mod first, see if it's a problem with the mods data, then if it's an engine bug move it on to us -- because it's still possible that it's a BtRL data problem |
No game data no matter how corrupt should ever reset the players machine. |
talk to the video card manufacturers about that - because bad data, or even good data fed to a defective card, can cause this. |
Hello People sorry for the delayed response. Sorry this has caused a bit of an argument. As for the issue it self i can say that it is not my card. I have had it for a while have played well over 150 difference games, demos and mods on it. Never has the prblem been my graphics card. I will post this on the mod forum where it belongs. Thanks for your help |

I'll close this one then. |
