As posted in the forums, but not yet answered:

"What video card and drivers are you using now? What cmdline options? Run a debug build and see what it complains about, then post a link to your fs2_open.log file so that I can see what the init stuff is turning up."

Driver version, cmdline options, any mods in use, and the debug log are must have items to help figure out this problem.

my GFX drivers...i realy dont know how to find that out.
my card is a radeon 7500
i know openGL works on my computer from various other programs (truespace needs openGL to work)

I can't really tell from the version number exactly which driver you have installed (ATI version #'s suck, and are often repeated in completely different driver series). I think it's in the 4.14 series though, which is extremely old. Upgrade/reinstall your video card drivers, then see if it still messes up.

You also only have a partial install, which can really screw things up. Put "multi-mission-pack.vp" in a moddir, move "Derelict.vp" out of your missions directory and put it in a moddir, then install the rest of the FS2 retail VPs to cover all of your missing files.

Have you tried updated drivers?

yes. from my video cards "update drivers" option. but interface is still a no show in openGL.

ps: incase you were wondering, gameplay quality isn't affected at all.

I doubt that actually gave you current and fully updated drivers. It probably just gave you some certified crap that was pretty old and incomplete. Try and find something from ATI's website, since that's the only way that you'll get decently current drivers (which are still going to be old considering your hardware).

After you've got current drivers, if it still doesn't work, attach a new fs2_open.log from this build:

Is this still an issue?

Closing due to no response, and because I'm pretty sure this isn't code related.
