Summary0000130: when alt tabbing in and out of 3d ship select, viewpoint shifts
Descriptionusing the following command lines: 03_05_2004_fs2_open_r.exe -htl -spec -glow -jpgtga -d3d_no_vsync -stats -ship_choice_3d -fov 0.39 -allslev

i run the game, load up a mission, and go into ship select. it looks exactly like in the techroom. i alt tab out of the game, and alt tab back in, and the view changes. it looks like your viewing out from the center point of the ship. i'll uplaod images ASAP.

I get this too, but only if I alt tab, unless this shows up with some other condition I'm not sure it's worth fixing, given how odd a situation it would be to alt-tab at that exact moment (doesn't happen in windowed mode)

not sure, D3D for sure, but entering the mission sim in OGL crashes me to desktop with an illegal op.

i'll report that crash right away.

in OGL, the viewpoint is absolutely not correct, without even alt-tabbing

Is this still a problem? I don't see it with OGL in fullscreen or window on Win32 or Linux. Haven't tested D3D since it crashes on Alt-Tab.

Tested it using your pilot-test build and it worked fine too (didn't test D3D as well)

I assume that either RT, phreak, or myself ended up fixing this so I'm marking it as so. If D3D Alt-Tab ever gets fixed and it's still a problem then please reopen this bug.
