| Summary | 0001142: switching from FSO to retail doesn't remove FSO command line options, despite what launcher says | ||||
| Description | If you're running FSO with command lines, and then switch to FS2 retail (via the browse button), the Features tab displays no command line options, although whatever used to be "Custom Flags" will still be there. However, attempting to run will give an error indicating that the command line is still there, even though it's now invalid. Error: Unrecogzined command line parameter -spec File:C:\projects\freespace2\code\Cmdline\cmdline.cpp Line: 358 Call stack: ------------------------------------------------------------------ kernel32.dll 7c816fd7() ------------------------------------------------------------------ Furthermore, you cannot remove the command line options at this point. You have to Browse back to your FSO executable and manually remove them (using the Easy Setup drop-down menu for "Default FS2 (All features off)" *does not work*) launcher 5.5 | ||||

Fixed. And, I hard-coded the retail options into the Launcher so that there is always something available. I'll wait to mark this as resolved until the code hits CVS and a Launcher build with the changes is made available. |
