| Description | Joysticks work fine with stock FS2, but NOT with FS2Open. | ||||
| Additional Information | Possible work around (it worked for me): Set all of your flags and options using the FS_Open launcher (click apply, then OK). Then, launch the stock launcher and select your joystick. Now run the FS_Open executable 9NOT through the launcher) and enjoy. For some odd reason, whenever the FS_Open launcher is run, the stock launcher resets its joystick configuration to <none>, so everytime you run the FS_Open launcher, you must tell the stock that you do indeed have a joystick. This is only effecting some systems because I have XP and a joystick. What I need to know before I acn fix this bug is the value of CurrentJoystick that the original launcher sets that works and the value that fs2_open launcher sets that doesnt. |

Fault seems to be with the launcher. The retail launcher sets his joystick as 1. fs2_open launcher sets it as 0. Im using what I believe to be the correction code for joysticks so Im going to have to run some more tests to find out whats going on. |

Note to team: Theres a work around for this in the launcher I will try to fix it again when I find the time. |
