| Description | well, ill be playing freespace 2 (and sometimes other games like prey) and then suddenly BOOM, the screen turns like black backround...with lines forming square shaps all over my screen...the mouse pointer turns into a scquare type thing too...and all grafics die...i have to restart...got no idea what has caused it. i have never seen it before, i just did a system restore. | ||||

Have you upadated video drtivers recently? |

yea, i thought this too, i opened up my computer..gave it a clean and so on...and i checked the temp.'s and it seems ok...i just updated my drivers...and im hoping it fixes the problem. i was just wondering if anyone had seen this before, for a quick fix. if its just a trivial hardware issue, then u ca mark this as fixed or whatever if you like. ill figure it out :) thanks anyways |

If you are running in D3D mode then try OpenGL instead. Also, please tell us which build you are running. |
