| Summary | 0001069: ctd from weapon hits to ships with multiple class flags | ||||
| Description | A ship with the "fighter" AND "transport" flags crashes the game when weapons hit it. This may occur with other combinations as well, but I haven't tested for them. However, when the "fighter" flag is removed, it functions properly. I am running on a Dell Windows XP with Intel Pentium 4, FSO DirectX mode, using the build that comes in ShivanSPS's pack (Launcher 5.4.1-pre, fs2_open_3_6_9.exe, and MediaVPs 3.6.8 Zeta). | Additional Information | The bug shouldn't cause problems for well built tables, but it still isn't good that it crashes without an error message. Suggestions: display an error message on table parsing in FS2 or a warning (not an error) on load or save in FRED (probably better, if not both). | ||||

What mission does this happen in? Which ship is it? Is it a retail ship with the original tbl entries, or something added modified? Does the problem still happen if you run in OpenGL mode (D3D is unsupported)? |

Closing due to lack of response. Plus there is a 99% chance that this is just some stupid tbl entry error triggering a div-by-0 bug. It's the modders job to fix things like that. Closered. |
