| Summary | 0001057: Mission Freeze | ||||
| Description | A Game of TAG seems to stick after the second enemy bomber wing jumps in; the Warspite seems reluctant to fire on TAGged targets (Though that could be a range issue), and the second bomber wing is invisible, though they apparently are about (they're on the Directives List, and the Event Tracker in game registers their arrival) | ||||

Retry with the 3.6.9 RC7 build and see if you still have those problems. |

I get an Openal Version error. As well, DirectX rendering doesn't seem to like this machine; the game and Windows are fighting for dominance (I see the game cursor, and the Windows cursor.), and OGL rendering won't even show me the pilot select menu. |

Install OpenAL from here: http://developer.creative.com/articles/article.asp?cat=1&sbcat=31&top=38&aid=46&file=OpenALwEAX.exe Make sure that you don't have either of these two files in c:\windows\system32\ (delete them if present): ct_oal.dll, nvopenal.dll Please give your system specs, particularly video card and video driver version. |

OpenAL installed, and I'm setting it to run Windowed (at least there I can get past the pilot select screen). However, now I seem to have found a crash-bug; selecting the ready room causes the game to essentially crash in the middle of loading; the C++ library (this is with the debug build) mentions a pure vitrual function call (R6025, if that helps at all). And I don't have either of those files. System Spec: AMD Athlon 2600+ chip, 512MB DDR400, ATI Radeon X850 video card on AGP8x. Older drivers, though. Going to install latest CATALYST and see if that helps. edited on: 09-22-06 10:28 |

6.9 Catalyst install didn't help much; Windows and FS2O are still fighting for control over the mouse in fullscreen. As a sidenote, when I click the mouse in fullscreen, it automatically bounces back to Windows. edited on: 09-22-06 10:28 |

Hmm, never realized what this bug was actually about until I looked at again. :) Duplicate of 0000960. Closered. |
