| Summary | 0001037: Different behaviour for ship scanning and cargos | ||||
| Description | In "In The Depths of Hell Chapter 1" Interdiction all the ships have typed cargo but it is not known (FRED > Ship Editor > Misc Button > Unticked "Cargo known") and the ships cannot be scanned (... > Unticked "Scannable") But within game only ST Azraels and SAC 3s appear with a "Cargo:<Unknown>" and can be inspected. All the other ships cannot be inspected/scanned. What's happening if all the ship settings are the same? | ||||

Only transports, freighters, and containers can have "cargo". All other ships are "scannable". This is by design. |
