| Summary | 0001031: Freespace (Silent Threat Campaign) crashes when viewing a Hercules fighter in-game | ||||
| Description | While running the Silent threat campaign using FSPort, every time a Hercules fighter moves into view (whether it be mine or a friendly's), The game crashes and I end up right back to the desktop. It doesn't happen in the tech room, though, nor does it occur in the target monitor on the bottom left corner of the HUD. I'm running on OpenGL mode on 1280 x 768 resolution (I have a tablet laptop so that is my screen resolution). Here are the flags I'm using: C:\FS2\FS2\fs2_open_3_6_9.exe -mod FSPort,mediavps -spec -glow -env -jpgtga -mipmap -2d_poof -missile_lighting -dualscanlines -targetinfo -orbradar -rearm_timer -ship_choice_3d -3dwarp -snd_preload -fps -ambient_factor 11.3 -spec_exp 22 -spec_point 0.6 -spec_static 1 -spec_tube 1 After some experimentation, I found that disabling jpg/tga textures seems to make the Herc model invisible on the target monitor. I'm not sure if this is relevant to the problem I have, but I think it's worth mentioning. | ||||
