Summary | 0002996: Flickering screen when using resolution higher to 1080p
Description | Using this nightly : http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=86479.0 Just after a mission is loaded, the flickering screen happens when playing with a resolution like 2560x1440, or 2880x1620 @ 60 Hz. For information, I'm playing with a 27" LCD monitor (Asus VG278H 3D Vision 2 Ready 120 Hz). Natively, the monitor support a max resolution of 1080p. But can be overidden to support higher resolution within Downsampling techniques. For most games, using this unsupported resolution works pretty well.
Steps To Reproduce | Having monitor that support those resolutions natively or with an unsupported way within downsampling techniques. For the unsupported, the resolution is set within Graphic card driver (Catalyst Control Center or nVidia Control Panel). There's option to customize resolutions and refreshrate and also an option to tell where the scaling will be done (by the monitor or by the GPU). Well, at least on nVidia card.

Forgot one thing, after those resolution are set. They are available in the launcher as valid resolution, so you can choose them. |

I'm going to assume this is no longer an issue. |
