Is there anything differently being done than what I have in that simple test mission? I have a hostile capship with a play dead priority of 50 and no other orders. Also, giving it a attack-alpha order of 49 still did not cause it to fire on me. Do you have a standard mission that can reproduce it?

I'm reopening the other bug and closing this one as a duplicate.

Shiv, we need details on how to reproduce this bug. Neither chief1983 nor I have been able to figure out the cause of this bug in two years. So we will need a lot more detail rather than "it doesn't work". PLEASE provide a test mission and a detailed description of what to do to trigger this bug.
